About me
Hello. As well as being a counsellor, I am a mummy, wife, woodland activity leader and business owner. So, do I experience stress? Absolutely, often. Anxiety? It’s mostly in the past, but yes. Depression? Yes, I have been there, a long time ago now.
How do I support my own wellbeing? I walk barefoot on the grass, I sit and stare at a campfire, I blend wild herbs to drink, I improve my gut health through diet. I meditate as often as possible. I write in my journal regularly.
I set intentions at the full moon and I celebrate the solstices and equinoxes by connecting with like-minded spirits. Nature plays a key role in the therapeutic process for me.
I communicate. I practise self-care. I am committed to my own journey of personal development and I cannot afford to let that slip, not even for a few days. My needs are as important as those of my children. I know I cannot give from an empty cup.
So, do I sound like someone you could work with? Are you willing to commit to a journey of self discovery and personal development? Are you willing to get uncomfortable, to be vulnerable?
If the answer is yes, then put your trust in me and the process. I will walk with you into the unknown, hold your hand, accept and validate your feelings, so you are seen and heard but never judged.
I can offer you a safe space to unravel the tangled mess in your head and support you in putting it all back together in an orderly fashion, working with it piece by piece. I can suggest techniques that can help support your healing journey, or just watch and encourage you as you figure it out for yourself.
I would love to hear from you.
